The dream

I have just found out that Peter Reeve is serious about me becoming the next PPC for UKIP for NW Cambridgeshire. I know this area is to be highlighted over the next few years as a stronghold for the party and is therefore an important seat for us to win and hold. I therefore also accept that this is real privilege and an honour.

With this comes great responsibility but also an opportunity to shine as a representative of public interest. There is a real chance to enter the exciting world of politics and to try and make a difference to the way we live here in Britain.

I must talk this through at greater length with Peter to go over some more of the detail but I have a feeling I will be accepting this position and finally starting to grasp my destiny as a public figure who fights for what is right for the people.

I have created this diary space to document the journey I am about to go on and to show the world just how human some politicians can be.
